About Us
Moose Twinkle Cards has been a long time dream and hobby of Twink, alias Charlene Bodero. Born and raised in Connecticut, Twink has lived in several other states only to end up returning to CT where it felt like home.
And Twink just loves Moose. Her favorite color is purple and she loves to gaze at the stars especially when she was a camper, so it was real easy to come up with a name for the company... just take everything you like and shake it all together and volia'!
Twink is a former counted cross stitcher (which took forever to do) and a decorative artist (market is now flooded with cheap imports). She has always looked for something crafty to do but it needed a quick result and it had to be useful and practical. After trying many different crafts along came creative greeting cards through rubber stamps and a new life was born.
Twink has been married for 23 years to a wonderful and very patient husband, Bill. They were unable to have children but they have an energetic Affenpinscher (dog) named Zip who weighs all of 9 pounds and a sister (dog) named Bindi who is a high energy 7 pound Brussels Griffon. However, you have to watch out as one of them just may knock you down as they run and play through the house. Yes, its pretty much like having twin 2 year olds.
Over all, you are going to find other people making cards, many many other people. Now they may use stickers and they may use store bought flowers and many other forms of store bought media. You may even comment that you have seen better cards than what Twink is making, but always remember, the cards made at Moose Twinkle Cards are all individually made from only the best paper available. Then each card is hand cut and measured and hand assembled like it was something special because to us it is special, even if you order 6 of one style, its still created and treated like an individual card. So I guess you could say that age old statement, "they are made with love" applies here.
Finally, we are here to stay because this is Twinks future retirement business. She just loves this stuff.
Never forget Twink's favorite saying, "We Can't All Be Stars, But We Can Sure Twinkle Brightly." We try to twinkle through our greeting cards.

Category of the Month: Cancer and Birthdays
I recently was touched by a loss of a customer's daughter, Melissa in Australia and the level of grief the parents were experiencing just floored me.
Twinkle realized she did not offer any cancer support cards other than the generic get well. So Twinkle created a place for supporters to visit and purchase a special cancer note for their loved ones by adding a Cancer Secion to the Get Well category.
